P.G. stands for potholes, gouging

As a resident of Prince George for nearly 50 years I am compelled to write regarding the huge crevices in the city roads. Unfortunately the potholes were not attended to last year and now the city has a real problem.

As a resident of Prince George for nearly 50 years I am compelled to write regarding the huge crevices in the city roads.

Unfortunately the potholes were not attended to last year and now the city has a real problem.

The drivers of this city are being jarred and thrown about (as well as damaging their vehicles) traveling these streets and roads.

I do not think this is something that we, as taxpayers of this city, should have to put up with.

Yes, I know it is still winter, but as I drive on numerous streets in our city there is not one that doesn't have damage.

I am sure this is beyond any money that has been set aside for street repair for this year; therefore, this problem will no doubt increase, as well as our taxes (not to mention large repair bills to our vehicles).

Good job, city council.

Each year we are subjected to tax increases to supposedly deal with these issues but instead this city chooses to spend money on legal fees and huge

severance payouts.

It is time that this city council put a

priority on roads.

What more do the residents of this city have to do to make this city council

understand that?
