[Tuesday was] one year since the fire and explosion at Lakeland Mills. I would like to pay tribute to a true hero - John Ingstrom. I happened to be at the mill that night to do a presentation to the crew during their lunch hour. If it was not for John lifting the wall I don't believe that I would be alive today. I have expressed my appreciation to John on several occasions but I would like to publicly acknowledge him. I will be forever grateful to both him and the other person from the Steelworkers who helped me find my way out of the mill.
