Paying the price

Formally from Prince George, now residing in South Surrey, my wife and I visited P.G. a few days ago. Upon driving on some of the residential streets, we could hardly believe the poor condition of the streets due to apparent lack of timely snow removal. It is obvious, by the huge blocks of compacted snow/ice on the street sides, there had been a lot of traffic on them before any snow plowing was done.

We do not know what hair-brained criteria is now used for snow plowing. It does not require a genius to conclude this puts severe stress on the snow removal equipment and the pounding the resident's cars are experiencing, longterm, can only increase maintenance costs.

It is obvious that some people in city hall have made a hasty, ill conceived, decision regarding snow removal and they should pay the price next election.
