Pay attention behind the wheel

Would you drive drunk? Of course not. You could hurt yourself or someone else, go to jail, lose your car, job and maybe some friends. It isn't worth the risk. Paying for a taxi or a tow or both is nothing when compared.

Would you drive drunk? Of course not.

You could hurt yourself or someone else, go to jail, lose your car, job and maybe some friends. It isn't worth the risk. Paying for a taxi or a tow or both is nothing when compared.

Would you drive with a coffee, sandwich or a dog in your car? Maybe. Distracting, right? Some folks can drive distracted pretty good and some can't.

Which are you?

Habits good or bad are hard to change.

So when you're driving, put your phone in your purse or pocket where you can't see or grab it. Make your calls before you go and don't text anyone that you think will be driving.

Phone if you have to and if they have Bluetooth or wait.

How would you feel if you called or texted only to find out that they answered your call then ran someone over?

Remember, you have to live with yourself for a long time so you'd better like yourself.
