The Dos Besos red wine, made out of 85 per cent Tempranillo and 15 per cent Syrah, priced under $15, from the Spanish region of La Mancha in Central Spain, is produced by the Canatarero Morales family. This family owns the Bodega Fontana, with 30 years of experience in wine making.
The 500-hectare estate stretches 30 kms in length, between the provinces of Cuenca and Toledo.
The Dos Besos (meaning two kisses) is an example of the synergy created by two almost opposing varietals. The tannins are smooth, with fruity aromas of cherries, plum, strawberry and raspberry and a touch of vanila, giving the mouthfeel a nice finish.

Produced in steel tanks, it offers a nose of asparagus, capsicum, melon and passion fruit, while flavours of gooseberry, nettle and grapefruit are present in the mouth.
The acidity balances well with the fruitiness this young wine exhibits all along. With its 14 per cent alcohol level, it has a good structured bodyand a lingering aftertaste.
