I want to send a word of encouragement to all the volunteers that are looking after outdoor ice surfaces in Prince George. The work you do and the hours you give are priceless. The time spent flooding, clearing, and making sure the ice is as good as it can be, warms my heart. To the extra ordinary individuals that take care of the rink at the corner of 1st Ave and Zimmaro, great job.
As I pass by that rink and see the many smiling faces of the future stars, I hope they remember you when they make the NHL.
