Opinions don't trump knowledge

Gerald Lundquist appears to mistakenly equate his own opinions and beliefs with the accumulated knowledge of humanity:

The reason carbon dioxide concentrations are higher in winter is that there is no photosynthesis turning it into oxygen, not because our furnaces are running flat out.

It is not the particulate that melts the snow but its dark colour that reduces the albedo and allows radiant energy to be absorbed.

Atmospheric moisture concentration is constantly changing as thunderstorms precipitate evaporated moisture and its latent heat out of the atmosphere in some places, while consuming heat to evaporate it in others with no net gain or loss of heat.

Ships on the ocean burning Bunker C fuel contribute a very small proportion of global CO2 emissions.

The letter leaves the strong suspicion that the writer's vested interests include investments in LNG.
