It was disappointing but not surprising to read that Prince George Snowmobiling Club dislikes the coming restrictions on noise levels from snowmobiles.
The argument depended on the notion that noise isn't an issue as people are either in their cars or houses and can't hear them.
The Club doesn't seem to realize that they are not the only ones who enjoy being outdoors in winter. So from the very many walkers, snowshoers, skiers and ice fishers who have been left with their ears ringing after a sled races by - it would be great to have less noise pollution.
P.S. FYI we can hear you inside our houses too.
