Mary MacDonald's letter has some truth in it but I think she is discriminating by pointing the finger directly at Mr. Harper.
I would like to bring to mind a quote of John Chretien: "we cannot have the majority speak for everyone, who would speak for the minority?"
I think there should be a list of those who have all the attributes Mary suggests.
Let's start with Pierre Trudeau, Brian Mulroney, John Chretien. They made the list hands down.
Provincially, let's start with W.A.C Bennett, Dave Barrett, Bill Bennett, Bill Vander Zalm, Mike Harcourt, Glen Clark, Gordon Campbell, Christie Clark. They should also join this elite list.
Why not add some Municipal folks as well -
Simply replace the "Harper" in Marys' letter with any of the above or any of our past Mayors who have visited China with out our consent while using "our" credit card.
