Northerners pay more at the pump

Are we the citizens of Northern B.C.

Are we the citizens of Northern B.C. paying an absorbent price for gas so the citizens who live South of "The Great Divide" (you know this divide, the junction of Highway 97 and Highway 1 at Cache Creek) can pay a cheaper price?

It looks like it to me.

Let's take a look at some gas prices in the North: Quesnel-137.9, Prince George-138.9, Vanderhoof, 135.9.

Now let's check some gas prices south of Cache Creek. Abbotsford-118.4, Chilliwack-120.4, Hope-122.9, Courtenay (yes Courtenay on the Island)-117.9, Kamloops-121.9, Kelowna-133.9. What does this look like to you? It also makes me wonder why the price of gas on Vancouver Island is the cheapest of all?

I think it's about time our elected leaders take a good long look at gas pricing, something isn't right here. Maybe it's time we took action and started boycotting different oil companies around here for a week or two at a time.

Maybe if we hurt them in their pockets like they are hurting us in our pockets, we might get a break.
