Just wanted to write in about a great organization in town. The Northern B.C. Friends of Children right here in our own city. Last fall I contacted them for the first time in regards to my daughter Breanna, whom is 10 years old, but her disability is that she has the brain of a three year old. She so badly wanted to be able to ride a bike, but I was unable to find training wheels that would fit for the size of bike she needed. Northern BC Friends of Children funded some specialty training wheels all the way from Quebec to be put on Breanna's bike. That was the first thing. This winter Breanna's occupational therapist suggested a special ball chair for Breanna to sit on at the computer and the dining room table to help with her core strength. Within a matter of a week of my contacting Northern B.C. Friends of Children they had this approved and shipped right to our door. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for how easy you made the application process and for funding these two items that make Breanna's life so much better.
