Nobody's prefect, Roy

I have been waiting for several months for a chance to turn the tables on the Citizen. Over the course of that time a couple of pictures were taken where Citizen staff poked fun at some spelling mistakes and/or typos seen around town.

I have been waiting for several months for a chance to turn the tables on the Citizen. Over the course of that time a couple of pictures were taken where Citizen staff poked fun at some spelling mistakes and/or typos seen around town. You may remember one that showed a misspelling on a sign about using a sidewalk on the opposite side of the street, and another that depicted a street sign with a typo. I knew it was only a matter of time before a major gaffe would happen in the Citizen, and I enjoyed seeing the "SALUTE TO BRIDEBUILDERS(sic)" caption in today's paper,(Saturday, July 31st). In the photo a group of dignitaries including the Premier, MLAs and Mayor of Prince George were shown in a ceremony to recognize the 400 workers who worked on twinning the Simon Fraser Bridge. I am not sure how many "brides" actually worked on the bridge, but they sure were well recognized! I guess we all make mistakes.

PS - Please withold my name in case I speelled anything rong had any grammar or punctuation erors or made any tipos?
