As the spouse of a teacher I wanted to take the time to thank MLAs Mike Morris and Shirley Bond for all the assistance and guidance they provided to the citizens in their ridings during the teachers strike.
I am not sure where we would be had they not made sure they were out of town during every rally, failed to meet with concerned parents and remained quiet about an issue that affected the entire province. It is nice to know we voted (well, I didn't ) in two such caring people who worked hard at towing the party line. And I can't forget to mention how much we all enjoyed the form letters they sent out instead of taking the time to speak with constituents. They truly showed everyone exactly where they stood and how much they cared about the opinions of those who reached out to them for help.
I can sleep at night knowing that my best interests are being looked after. Thank you, Mike and Shirley. I am sure there will be a bonus in it for both of you.
