I had a good laugh when I saw your editorial cartoon [Jan. 30], which implies that Newt Gingrich is a mighty presence about which little Obama should be shuddering.
What the real and certainly unintended message is how delusional neoCon sympathizers like the Toronto Star, and, by implication, you at The Citizen, really are.
Americans can bluster and complain loudly about their government of the day but they are far too smart to have any but the briefest affairs with such a wing-nut.
The Obama reaction to any show of success by this no-starter as a candidate is much better
captured by the attached picture which you should try to procure and get permission to print if you put any value on balanced coverage.
It's a lot funnier and more realistic than that
excuse for a cartoon.
