The other day I saw a grader and loader plowing Sparrow Road out here on the Hart. I was sure they would come to my road next, Fox Drive and then on to the other roads in the area until they hit the city limits which is at Pilot Mountain Road.
But no, they stopped at Sparrow and went back down the Hart to another area. How is this cost effective to the city snow plow budget if these operators have to come back and burn more fuel and wear on tires etc. Just because the water and sewer end at Sparrow does not mean that is the end of city limits. Two Diversified school buses travel our street every day and right now there is not enough room for two cars to pass each other without one of them pulling in a driveway to let the other go by.
So I ask the Mayor does the core review you just received recommend that you only plow some areas and the rest of the residents of Prince George can just pay their taxes and receive no services from the city?
