No more help for Canfor

So Canfor, you've got a mill that doesn't make two-by-fours any more and you would like the taxpayer to put up $10 million to make it into a trades school.

So Canfor, you've got a mill that doesn't make two-by-fours any more and you would like the taxpayer to put up $10 million to make it into a trades school. That's on top of the $132 million we just gave you to upgrade some boilers and diminish your smelly presence. (Editor's Note: Canfor and Canfor Pulp are two separate companies).

I notice you had lots of cash to buy up those mills in the Kootenays. Maybe you can shut a few of them down and make a few more trades schools, But don't we already have a good trades school in Prince George called CNC? And didn't we just spend a whole lot of cash upgrading it? Oh, now I remember. We can't afford to pay instructors to run the facility. So are you going to use those instructors that we had to lay off in your school? Who is going to pay them? Please don't tell me you want the taxpayer to do that.
