No meatloaf, pleeeze!

Meatloaf? Is this 1978? OK, I get it, Elton John is a legend! He is worthy of the attention and our money. But Meatloaf? Whoever is establishing what Prince George wants to listen to, is out of touch.

Meatloaf? Is this 1978?

OK, I get it, Elton John is a legend! He is worthy of the attention and our money. But Meatloaf? Whoever is establishing what Prince George wants to listen to, is out of touch. While other cities get today's top acts (no, not just the "big cities"), Prince George is fed a steady list of yesteryear performers mixed with Canadian rock.

When are we going to see someone on the charts not named Nickelback or Hedley or Avril Lavigne? When do we get the rock shows that this town craves?

What about Disturbed with Avenged Sevenfold and Stone Sour(September),Tool (July), Megadeth (last month), Alice in chains with Mastodon and Deftones(Oct), Iron Maiden (June), Shinedown (June)? Why do we keep getting spoon fed country, oldies and boy bands? These are the "safe" choices, but the shows I have mentioned above would all be sellouts or very close to it. Do these acts cost more than Elton John? I doubt it greatly. If so, it wouldn't be worth it to do that show here. It is, and these other ideas could be too.

Represent the people you say you do CN Centre staff. We have money for you, you just don't offer us anything that will get it. and for those concerned over "those type of people" getting rowdy at a concert. those "type" of people are your brothers, sisters, cousins, sons and daughters. Get some balls CN Centre, and you will get our cash.
