When I got back from holidays I was very surprised to find that someone has decided we are Prigonians. This is like a bad Christmas sweater than no-one wants. The name would take too much explanation on how it was reached and what it means. The connection between Prince George residents and "Prigs" is not a logical one nor a realistic one. The other examples of Vancouver and Vancouverites / Calgary and Calgarians have an easy connection to the city name. The current chosen name appears to be a conclusion reached after midnight and several alcoholic drinks or other intoxicating substances.
Although we have been called worse (like the Crime Capital of Canada) and let's pack this name away like a bad Christmas sweater and move onto more worthwhile causes.
