Citizen reporter Mark Neilson is to be commended on his fair and well-balanced election-campaign reporting, particularly the recent story on unemployment during the 1990s. There is one number though that should be front and centre as we approach election day. Two. That was the number of seats won by the NDP in 2001 after their punishing decade-long treatment of the B.C. economy.
Remember, those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.
