I have been reading about the different ways the city is trying to save money and I do understand that it can't always be an easy job to balance a budget with ever-increasing costs.
In fact I don't think it is ever easy but I must say I really do not want the library on the Hart to close down. I was kind of sad when I read that was even being considered. It is one of the features of living on the Hart that makes it so wonderful. We had moved to the Hart from Salmon Valley a year and a half ago and I was so happy that now I could walk to the library and check out books anytime I wanted to.
Now if the library closes I have to either drive or take the bus through the snow the city doesn't want to plow to get to the downtown branch. I don't have a lot to complain about for the most part. I love living in the city but not happy about closing the Hart library. Let's keep it open and keep the Hart a terrific place to live.
