More should have supported Woof Stock

I was lucky enough to partake in one evening of Woof Stock this past weekend. On Saturday night, the excitement of seeing the headliners Twisted Sister and Helix was awesome. The cost was high, but it's for the animals so I put that aside.

I was lucky enough to partake in one evening of Woof Stock this past weekend. On Saturday night, the excitement of seeing the headliners Twisted Sister and Helix was awesome.

The cost was high, but it's for the animals so I put that aside. I was appalled to see the low turnout from Prince George residents. Shame on them for not making this an incredible turnout.

I do know that they sure failed on advertising this event when it should have been all over the radio stations months prior to the festival. I myself barely heard about it in time.

The part that really got me miffed and started me on writing this letter was the fact that Helix didn't bother to stay and play. I know we're not Vancouver or any other big city in Canada, or the U.S. for that matter, but we deserved to see the bands that were set to play.

There are rumors of nonpayment to Helix, in which case I can kind of let it go, but to show up here and from minute one complain about the poor turn out and where are we? Very poor taste.

Of course it will get around what you said about Prince George.

Now Twisted Sister gets my full approval and a huge thank you.

They were just as disappointed as were other bands that the turn out was so crappy, but they played. And they played awesome. I for one will not forget being able to have the chance to see a band that I had wished I could see since my teens.

A big boo to those who did not come out and support the animals that need us so much. But a big thank you to those who did and the bands that stayed and played. We enjoyed it very much.
