Road Safety re: Highway 97 from Prince George to Chetwynd
With the increase of summer traffic and the increase in industrial traffic, it is painfully obvious more passing lanes are desperately needed to maintain a safer flow of traffic .
The vast number of heavy industrial (logging /lumber/chip trucks and other supply transports moving goods north) then comes the terrorists with their motorhomes and trailers, oversized boats etc.
Let us not forget that in the event of a serious accident along this route we have virtually no cell service and are many kilometres away from emergency services .
A really serious move to ensure the safety on this very busy section of Highway 97 is needed.
