More parking frustration

As you may know by the letters to the paper and probably to the city, people are not happy about the extreme rate jump for parking. Mine went up almost 50 per cent and some as much as 80 per cent we could understand $5 or even $10.

I don't make big money as do quite a few of my co-workers and those that are single parents paying rent, groceries etc. this is too much. I hear more and more people talking about parking in the streets. This is going to effect the downtown businesses as well they will lose revenue because their customers won't be able to park close. I also hear that the RCMP will not have to pay for their parking, how is this fair everyone using city parking should have to pay.
