More funds for education, not administration

To the comment by the school trustee that "money is being wasted on busing students to school, and this money should be used in the classroom": This is a good model of thinking and should be put on a Post-It note on their desk.

Time to start cutting the elite upper administration who never see the inside of a classroom. Our School District 57 is now half the size it was 20 years ago, but we still have all the administration (this needs to be cut in half).

My children have never taken a bus to school so this doesn't effect me, but I would think busing a student to school gets them to the classroom, which is money well spent.

Having more administration or trustees thinking of ways to cut teachers and other workers who are necessary is a waste of money not spent in the classroom, which takes us back to your Post-It note.

Education and health care are a priority of the taxpayer and I support those workers. I

don't support my tax dollars being spent on ballooning administration costs.

If you touch a student or a patient we need to send a message that you are important and the administration of those workers can be thinned out.
