Moral compass has gone askew

In regards to "An insider's look on a tough editorial decision:" Your editorial decision to use a corpse to promote anger in the community to get a political decision is obviously one you can sleep with at night.

In regards to "An insider's look on a tough editorial decision:"

Your editorial decision to use a corpse to promote anger in the community to get a political decision is obviously one you can sleep with at night.

I understand you are not publishing any more "opinions" regarding this decision. (I am writing this anyway)

Your tough decision is an ugly symptom of the declining values of this community.

Your community is now poorer because of the use you applied to the power of the press.

I expect you will simply skim this letter and reason that you made a tough decision and this is one more voice that disagrees with you and "that's too bad."

But your unreasonable and insensitive attitude is also a reflection of a moral compass that has obviously gone askew.

The declining values of the people are now properly reflected by the newspaper.
