I was reading letters to the editor in Friday's paper about the lady's purse being taken and then someone trying to grab her purse outside a store. I had $2,000 in my purse I had been saving for a long time so I could go to Vancouver with my husband for his knee surgeries, but some greedy slime ball thought they needed it and took it all.
This now means I can't go because it was for me and my physically- and mentally-challenged sister could go with us. I hope whoever spends it very wisely because I worked very hard for it and saved for a long time.
