With winter weather brings the joys of snow shoveling and snow plowing.
I realize plowing snow in Prince George is something that we will never have control over as we are a winter city.
Although recently I have noticed a lot of plows working at night. While I understand working at night is the best time to plow the roads, perhaps there is someway to do it in a quieter fashion.
I have been awakened many times by plows dragging on concrete, the drivers yelling back and fourth and dropping their plows.
When a plow is dropped on concrete it makes a very loud thump which echoes through al ot of buildings, not to mention contributing to our worst roads in Canada.
I know it possible to plow roads without dropping or dragging the plows as I have seen it done.
Despite the noises at night I would like to commend the City of Prince George on its recent snow clearing efforts.
