I read with great interest that the mayor believes the city should not be in the golf business. I would love to know what business the city should be in. As a city we should offer every opportunity to our residents. Just because the study gives recommendations, doesn't mean it should be done. Maybe if I saw you out golfing or walking or running the streets and trails we have in this city I could respect your views on these matters.
A strong mayor would try and find a way to keep these landmarks that make Prince George an attractive place to live.
Now I am just waiting for the hammer to drop on the compost station on Quinn Street, with the garbage drop gone and the sani station next. It will be a perfect excuse for the city to get out of the compost business.
