The Rotary Club of Prince George Downtown would like to thank Dr.'s Inban Reddy and George Haley for volunteering their time at the first Men's Health Screening Day in Prince George, as well as Penny Hildahl and Colleen Bonner for facilitating the clinic, keeping appointments on time and paperwork organized.
Nearly 30 men were screened for prostate cancer and given a brief check-up on Saturday, February 16th and 50 more were given vouchers to complete this screening with their family doctors. Big thanks also go out to John Kason of Global Securities, Tara Legault of the YMCA of Northern B.C., Leah LaRiviere of Prostate Cancer Foundation B.C., Twylla Hamelin and staff of the Northern Medical Program, UHNBC hospital auxiliary volunteers and switchboard, and the Prince George Citizen.
