Medical care right out of the Third World

Our hospital, where if you need help you're gonna wait till you nearly die before they see you and deal with your issue. We don't got enough docs to go around.

Our hospital, where if you need help you're gonna wait till you nearly die before they see you and deal with your issue. We don't got enough docs to go around. We have a teaching university here so what the hell? We can sure dole out the bucks for foreigners but at the expense of our healthcare.

The size of our community dictates that we need four more clinics in this city and 40 more doctors. It is sickening, distressing and downright Third World country here in P.G. I will be moving myself out of this horrid town as soon as I locate a town that provides medical care on a higher level than we get here.

We are taking care of our 85-year-old mother. She was in agony yet we sat two hours till a doc could see her. They gave us names to call because she needs ongoing care but we got turned down as the names we were given aren't taking patients. Mom is not from here but she has no family to take care of her at her home so she is living with us. This has got to be the most upsetting, disgusting, appalling situation for an elderly person.

I offered to take her to the vet since she is likely to get superior care just like animals do. When I find myself in her shoes, I plan to take my health matters into my own hands. I refuse to be a part of a world that is getting so archaic and backwards that before you get any help, you sit and wait in agony first or maybe wait till you're dead then no one has to deal with one at all. Good to know what lies ahead for me one day. I will have a back up plan so I won't be dependent on such an inferior medical system.
