In response to the somewhat sarcastic letter on the 10 reasons for our mayor going to China I would like to say that a trip like this can make a vital connection and yield untold benefits for decades to come.
Our leaders have represented us well in the past and Sheri and the team will fulfil an important bridge building role in going.
I with them want to be an optimistic open minded thinker. A certain amount of money should be budgeted for our leaders and without reservation they should go freely to do this as part of their work.
We all throw out opinions from time to time that need to be retracted, I think this article is one of those.
