Here is a short assignment for all those who think James Moore is an appropriate chancellor for UNBC.
Look up the biographies of ten university chancellors in Canada (Google will allow you to do this in a few minutes).
Make a list of the attributes of those chancellors including 1) their accomplishments in politics, business, education, and/or academia; 2) their ability (especially if they were politicians) to transcend partisan politics; 3) their record of philanthropy, humanitarianism and/or service; 4) their honours received (Order of Canada, honorary doctorates etc.), and 5) their record of advocacy for the cause of education at all levels, but especially at the university level.
The results of your research will speak for themselves.
