Thank you very much for your very informative letter, Mr. Brink. However, I do think Scott McWalter's post on a social media community booster Facebook page was the wrong place to do it.
As I understand it, it appears the post raised the concern by other admins of the page. As I understand it, when questioned about the post, he immediately cut off all the admins and posted a farewell post on the page. If indeed he did do this, I think the actions conveyed the wrong message to many.
When I first heard about all the kerfuffle, I thought of a young boy losing at marbles, picking up all the marbles and going home in a huff. Scott is a better man than that. Scott is a young and upcoming community leader, which he has proven time and time again. His work with charities is remarkable.
Any leader does have to realize though, while they express a concern, they should be able to accept criticism, answer questions and take the heat.
We would be a very boring community if everybody agreed with everybody. Learning from questions asked often brings knowledge and better understanding.
I sincerely hope that the Hell Yeah PG site will be back and operating very soon so that those who love our community can continue to spread positive thoughts about our community.
Wasn't that the reason for the Hell Yeah PG page in the first place?
