According to a recent news report, the cancellation of the LNG project was apparently caused by our current provincial government, that has been in power for less than thirty days.
This revelation by rookie Liberal MLA Jas Johal that the project which our previous premier announced would create thousands of jobs and, eventually retire the provincial debt, is not surprising. Politicians that make these exaggerated announcements continue to turn a lot of people off politics, and it is small wonder more and more just don't even bother to vote. Mr. Johal should fit in well in Victoria.
