Re: Todd Whitcombes article Prince George Citizen on May 22/14
Wholeheartedly I agree with Todd Whitcombe on "A matter of Survival."
Very refreshing indeed as Mr. Whitcombe writes about our great planet. Whereas so many "Environmental gurus" try to convince us otherwise.
They spout about the impact we make in this world because their PhD's and other titles make them "experts" amongst other doomsday sayers.
That causes a bandwagon which we gullible consumers fall for, and bureaucrats will take advantage of, so the create "Agencies" for fees of this and that and taxes which we, the "Joe public" dummies, we pay. Honestly!?
Because we feel guilty for living today (sort of) quite well on average, so we pay a little everyday. Sure, some species are on the brink as well as many before were extinct, it all happened before.
For a few hundred millennia species died out and others came and went, including some of our own kind-homo erectus types!
But hey, the average life span is increasing eh....I guess all this planet breakdown baloney is not hurtin' us at all eh....!
As Mr. Whitcombe so wisely put it, Life is robust and will survive.
As an amateur writer, I may not word it so exact, but still I felt like putting my two cents in anyhow.
