In the 16 years Carl was a volunteer at the fire hall he did maintenance on the fire truck, handled finance, attended accidents, fires and medical calls to name a few responsibilities.

Heather, in her 16 years, attended the same fires, accidents and medical calls. As logistics officer, her responsibility was also to track all calls, new member introduction and training.

Heather was also the head of the recreation committee, organizing birthday and Christmas parties, BBQs, movie nights and children's programs.

Daughter Makayla was a first responder but with summer employment looming and heading to UBC in September she reluctantly resigned. Kyle gained firsthand knowledge by accompanying his mom to the fire hall since about age three and is still contributing and volunteering at almost 18 years old.

We realize we have not touched on the amount of energy and commitment the Wozneys have given our neighbourhood, community and the Pilot Mountain Volunteer Fire Department.

Please know that we greatly appreciate all you have done.
