With all the upheaval of COVID and the extreme inflation, the seniors are left out again.
I see ads on TV from unions that say their members are falling behind but they are negotiating new contracts with increases.
Seniors get zilch - no increases in CPP or OAS but we see everything go up, gas groceries and services, etc.
I just went to pay my house taxes and they went up 21.5 per cent. In the last 10 years, the grant for seniors has not gone up at $275 per year but taxes have gone up a lot more.
Is there a politician that will look into fair treatment for seniors who have worked hard during all their life?
