The lack of print media has reduced democracy in Canada. During the last provincial election, I talked to others and many feel as I do that the average voter did not know the platforms of candidates. In previous elections, letters to the editor about platforms were common.
Pierre Poilievre wants to get rid of the CBC is not a good idea? I say no, as it would give wealthy media corporations control of what we read and hear. I know I miss my Prince George Citizen and wish it would come back in its old form.
