The city of Kitimat recently conducted a non-binding vote regarding the pipeline. What a great idea. I would like to see the City of Prince George hold a similar vote concerning the building of the "Centre For the Performing Arts". Why not have the vote in conjunction with the upcoming municipal election this fall? A simple question--"Are you in favour of construction of the Art Centre?" Yes or no.
All candidates in the upcoming election should state their opinion on the Arts Centre. If I was aware on how the candidates stood, I could make a better opinion on who to vote for. What is the city afraid of, let us have a vote.
