Let them go

Yipppeee. Well said, oh thou good sir.

I have something to add.

When you suggest it is long past time to hold the door open and let Quebec exit Confederation, I disagree. I don't want Canada partitioned. I would agree to, and would contribute generously to allowing those who don't like Canada, as it is, to leave. I would help them along with passage on a steamer headed out into the Atlantic somewhere. Where, I care not. They would have all left their Canadian citizenship here. Never to be given back. No, we would not send them off with bags of good Canadian money, either. No, not even the old paper stuff.

With them gone, we would change the description of our country with the addition of the words "indivisible" and "unilingual" and without prejudice. That would mean we would all have the same rights and responsibilities. Fishing, hunting, taxpaying rights and responsibilities. Yep, the rich guys gotta pay taxes, like the rest of us ordinary folk. Ooops did I say something unpopular?

Oh well, possibly, another day.

What a difference a day makes, eh?
