My husband and I felt privileged to witness a recent rehearsal for the upcoming production of Les Miserables.
We were invited after I mentioned to Judy Russell that we would be out-of-town during the run of the show. We have seen all her previous productions and were disappointed that we had a planned trip that coincided with this one. We were most impressed with what we witnessed at this rehearsal. The lead actors are all very strong singers and the large chorus added such texture to the play. The set, though still a work in progress, looks like it will be amazing.
We commend the efforts of all the community members involved in this huge undertaking and encourage everyone to take in this production which opens July 16th. With such a large cast, you will very likely see someone you know which is an added bonus to supporting community theatre.
To the cast and crew of Les Miserables, break a leg!
