What has happened to common sense? It is an outrage to fine an out-of-town lady $200, impound her car for a week and leave her and her passengers on the side of the road with their luggage for traveling 42 miles per hour on a highway when there were no children in sight. Yes, she missed the school zone sign, but contrary to Corey Eggen, I believe she would have slowed down if there had there been children on the road. Would it not have made more sense to issue her a warning and have that officer put to work catching some real criminals? I am only one voice but I offer my apology to those visitors to our city.
