The streets in and around Prince George are unsafe. Let darkness come and rains fall, our roads are lethal.
How so?
Where are the lines and markings to guide drivers? At times they are spotty and sporadic; too often, they are invisible--long gone.
I had a recent encounter with an alert traffic control officer. When I suggested to him that we all had a lines and lanes problem, he agreed with me. And when I said that I had this letter half written, he wisely commanded me to "do something good!"; that is, complete it and send it.
Bring on the road marking crews (and might they consider the chemistry of their paints as to durability?), so that we all can drive safely.
