On April 30 there was a large apartment fire at Ferry and Westwood where all four municipal fire halls responded. The firefighters positioned their trucks and fought the fire with great professionalism. The surroundings buildings all in close proximity were virtually untouched, which speaks to the high level of skill of our fire fighters; experience, practice and knowing how to do their job.
The insurance companies of the surrounding apartments and homes should acknowledge the fire department for their fine work - they saved the insurance companies thousands of dollars and the homes of many people.
Impressed, you bet - it is good to know that our Prince George firefighters are so well trained to protect us in our everyday lives.
