I agree with Ian Kluge in his article about the most precious resource on Earth when he says that violent games unconsciously influence negative attitudes such as misogyny. However, unless we all consciously work towards removing gender-specific terms in language, then we are not completely moving towards a more egalitarian society. His use of the phrase good will towards men instead of good will towards people or some other gender-neutral term, dampens his effort to be more kindly towards all people. Focusing on just men instead of people in general still dismisses women.
