Regarding the story about Delmar Lamb, golfing at age 95. I'm his youngest brother and can add a bit.
He stated a little about what he did in his life to remain healthy. I can give you a much better clue about his lifestyle and what he ate with great regularity. Almost every morning of his entire adult life he started out with a big plate of bacon and eggs for breakfast!
His wife, Ethel, was a good cook and she always served lots of bacon and lots of eggs.
I'm seven years younger, thus, at only 88 I'm practically still a kid, so I guess it is normal that I still ride my quad on mountain trails, still regularly shoot at the range and sometimes hunt.
Delmar tried to get me to golf but I said I would much rather be following my pheasant dog in the stubble fields and fence rows.
