I was very saddened to hear about the Salvation Army and the "millions of dollars of missing toys."
I am praying that this news does not affect the contributions that are so generously given by the people of this country.
This organization does such wonderful work in providing help for people who have been devastated by fires, lost jobs, and are just down and out. We know some of these people in our own city, don't we?
The Kettle Campaign will continue to provide for the needs of many during this holiday season, the season of giving, and it would be a great loss if people stopped contributing.
