I am a parent of two children who attend Central Fort George traditional school. As a parent I had to make a decision as to which school to put my children in with the intent for them to attend until high school. I chose Central Fort George, this choice is now being threatened. This school is not just an educational facility this is a family. All the families and teachers work together for a common goal to make our children the best they can be respectful and caring, as my choice I will not choose another public school I will choose to place my child in a private school and the school board will lose most of the funding for my children as it will go to the independent school, if we as parents in mass numbers choose to say no more to out school board and government they will have no choice but to find the money to give our children the choice and the education they deserve. Write your MLA and government officials and give our children a fighting chance.
