The letter by Stephen Rader in Saturday's paper (May 19) was right on. Maybe a bit tongue in cheek, but he explained the situation to a T. I cannot understand what our present Liberal government has against our teachers.
Thanks for reminding us how important the teachers in B.C. are for the contributions to our children's future.
My husband and I raised five children here in Prince George. Their education and school experiences were second to none. They have all gone on to adult life confident and independently secure.
Thank you to the teachers of the past and present. I have great grandchildren in the system here now. Keep fighting for our kids. They are worth it.
