Just vote, please

Finally the election is here, time to plan our finances for the next four years. NDP or Liberals. Who is going to pick my pockets more? If I was employed or received benefits from the gov't I'd would vote NDP because they are promising me more money.

Finally the election is here, time to plan our finances for the next four years. NDP or Liberals. Who is going to pick my pockets more? If I was employed or received benefits from the gov't I'd would vote NDP because they are promising me more money. They will run a deficit for three years, how much who knows and raise taxes to do it. That doesn't sound good. I bet an NDP gov't will create more new gov't jobs than the private industry does in the next four years.

I wish the Liberals weren't acting like a bunch of idiots. It would be nice to give them the heave-ho. But I can't afford to. I work in a pulp mill, I don't receive money from the gov't. I pay money. I know what the liberals are costing me now. I know the NDP will cost me more, how much I don't know. No I don't make $150,000 a year, but I'm not stupid either. If we are going to spend billions of dollars we don't have with no new money coming in. We are all going to pay more, no matter how much you make. You know as well as I do, if you spend money you don't have it will come back to haunt you.

I know we shouldn't be electing a gov't based on who we can afford. There are more important issues, but what choice do we have? With all levels of gov't raising taxes and service fees can we really afford a gov't that is promising to raise our taxes?

I don't want to vote Liberals. I hope you don't take this as an endorsement for them. This is my wallet talking. I pay enough, I don't want to pay anymore.

Make sure you vote. Who you vote for is your choice. Just vote, Please.
